luminous, beautiful and wise

Dominant western cultural conditioning doesn’t leave much room to value oneself as a woman past 50, and yet this is one of the most important initiatory and transformational periods of a woman’s life. So many lines of damning conditioning, from women’s conditioning to the fear of yin to harmful messages about aging come home to roost as we age -- it can be hard to see reality through the delusions.

Join Jeannie and friends to voyage into the wilds of elderhood and cronedom to explore the depths, brilliance and challenges of aging as a woman, as we compost the old and the cursed to open to the righteous and the real. Let’s uproot the concept of crone as “an unpleasant or ugly old woman”* to claim the regal, wise, deep and sturdy reality of us as luminous, beautiful and wise embodiments of the Holy.

Open only to women 50 and over.

This event will include meditation, guided meditation, talks, Q&A with Jeannie and optional breakout room dyad exercises. Optional homework exercises will be offered should you want to take your exploration beyond the teachings into everyday life.

This is truly a retreat! Please register for this event only if you are committed to attending all the sessions, arriving on time and staying through each, and that you can dedicate the weekend to this community exploration without distractions.

What to expect:
During the sessions, Jeannie will lead the group in meditation and guided meditation, followed by spontaneous talks, optional breakout room dyads, and time for exchanging with Jeannie. She'll also provide suggested practices for the breaks and evenings.
