Surrender yourself to the overflowing heart
Gratitude is natural as we fall open

Jeannie talks about how gratitude is given freely when we glimpse an undivided view of what is. She discusses how gratitude isn’t something to force or paste onto suffering. It may arise as we open ourselves to The All or even as we endure suffering or deconstruction. She shares her experience of gratitude unfolding in her own life’s ups and downs.

Exchange 1: Participant asks how to meet what’s arising when you really don’t feel like it. Jeannie points out that the part that doesn’t want to is now the thing to look at, because it’s on top of whatever had arisen in the first place; “meet the one on top.”

Exchange 2: Participant in a family situation and feeling quite a few layers being activated. Jeannie slows down with the participant to meet it all, and she discusses the aspects of pain and helplessness that are to be embodied.

Exchange 3: Participant has been waking up feeling very disoriented and strange. Jeannie talks about how living from things as they are introduces a sense of disorientation. We need to soothe the creature and find a new way of orienting to the Holy.

Exchange 4: Participant sits with Jeannie for a free flowing exploration of what is, including pains, shoulds, and sturdiness.
