Jeannie invites participants to soften and sink and rest into being. She talks about spiritual teachings and how within each, there is a lived experience that is much different than the shallow application of such concepts. The challenge of these teachings is to bring them down into the body where they can be lived instead of just known in the mind. Jeannie explains how letting go actually happens, taking into account how the unconscious functions and its role in our struggles. The first step is to mercifully be with the experience of being bested by aspects of our humanness. Being patient with the layers of feelings that arise will lead to eventual digestion of these layers.
