Awakening is seen as a way of being here unidentified with personhood, and can come with some uncharted difficult territory. Jeannie shares her experience of meeting and moving through some of the common post-awakening challenges.
Exchanges
Exchange 1: Participant wants support navigating a triggered response to feeling attracted to another. Jeannie normalizes having experiences that are outside of our ability to control, and shares some of what's helpful on the "humility path" that trauma presents.
Exchange 2: Participant has both experiences of ease and challenge with regard to spiritual opening. Jeannie talks about slowing down for the creature, and shares some wisdom from trauma resolution about what can help.
Exchange 3: Participant and Jeannie explore the idea of a spiritual self versus living free in the moment, from what's alive and true, versus using the moment as currency to get something/somewhere else.
Exchange 4: Participant experiences "awaking to how fucked up everything is" in the world. Jeannie talks about how the "bad stuff out there" can distract us from landing right here in the moment, open.
Exchange 5: Participant explores how to land in the moment when so many difficult questions are present, and wonders at her questions being perhaps a distraction from the pain of her daughter leaving.
Exchange 6: Participant has stopped seeking and is feeling a lot rising and is concerned there is something wrong.
