How do I trust this life?

Trust builds with our capacity to be all here.

Through meditation, guided meditation, a talk and exchange with participants, Jeannie invites participants to drop into the present moment She talks about the direct experience of trust as coming from actual experience. Much of mistrust is undigested experience and residual fear. Trust builds with growing our capacity to be here with what is real.

Exchanges

Exchange 1: Participant explores the challenges of relating with others while awakening, including spending all one’s energy relating to parts of oneself, trauma work, no longer abiding by typical norms/shoulds, and being projected upon.

Exchange 2: Participant explores the returning of fear and despair and the inability to trust, Jeannie talks about how we can’t make ourselves trust, we aren’t doing anything wrong when we experience mistrust, and that fear needs space, movement, and other resources to be digested.

Exchange 3: Participant is looking for a way to tell if they are okay without seeing another person’s face. Jeannie talks about leaving the mind’s ways of knowing for the body’s sense of “okay” and the simplicity of what’s present.

Exchange 4: Participant is finding that In facing the loss of income during a stressful period, that fear and the need to create income arise wedded together. Jeannie helps participant to explore tending to each aspect separately.

Exchange 5:  Participant knows the path of God is for them, and also notices they can’t do the social things they used to do. How to belong and not feel lonely. Jeannie explores the movement from the conditioned to the holy as deconstruction, normalizes the challenges, and gives some tips about how to support oneself in new ways.
